Like what you see? This is only the beginning. With each Thingie being entirely unique, their vibrancy will begin to slowly materialise as they crawl from the depths to join our Flufs in FLUF World.

The Ritual has begun, but while we wait, we thought we’d fill you in on what these little critters are and what you can expect.

Thingies — An Introduction

Legend has it that these creatures are as old as the Great Tree itself. Scurrying through FLUF World for millennia, throughout our networks of precious mycelium, weaving untold magic in their stride.

While the lore is vast, shrouded in fable and mystery, here is a brief introduction to these incredible beings:

What they are

Thingies are spider-like creatures, of their own genus and evolutionary design. While they look soft and cuddly, don’t be fooled. There is much more to them than meets the eye...

Each Thingie is unique, beginning with their vibrant, mesmerising fur. Entirely original, these have been AI-generated, from a database of thousands of abstract artworks. Each Thingie is a living, scurrying, breathing piece of individual art, bringing kaleidoscopic new shades to the ever-growing collage that is our shared World.

They’ve also brought back up. Or backpacks, if you want to get technical. Each Thingie is equipped with a distinctive satchel-like pack, atop their furry backs. Just what’s inside is a mystery in itself…

Released as a surprise, free mint for our Fluffle, Thingies have been waiting in the shadows for The Summoning, a fated event, this All Hallows Eve, that has finally arrived to bewilder us all.

Why they are here

Fluffy-friends. Arachnoid-amigos. These little creatures are here to bring a new web of companionship to our World.

But more than just furry faces, they’re voracious purveyors and producers of art, having been witnessed scavenging, building and creating their own mycelium-inspired masterpieces.

What this skill means and how it will influence FLUF World will be unravelled in due time. Until then, your journey to understanding these entities begins right here. By immersing yourselves in our lore, and closely acquainting yourself with your very own Thingie.

If you have a Fluf and have not minted your Thingie, you can do that here.

How do I get one?

Minting

Thingies are free to mint (+gas), with ONE Thingie per Fluf available for all Fluf holders.

Simply visit The Underground, view ‘Your Flufs’ and select ‘Thingies’.

A message will show if you have Thingies available to mint. Simply click onto the mint page, select your Flufs to mint their corresponding Thingie, select ‘Mint’, then complete the transaction via your digital wallet. You can mint up to 10 Thingies in a single transaction. If you have more than 10 Thingies to mint, please wait until the first transaction has been completed before trying to mint more.

NOTE: If you purchased your Fluf on Opensea after Thingies were made available for mint, your Thingie may already have been minted and sold.

You can verify this by searching your Fluf’s ID number in our Official Thingie Collection on Opensea BEFORE you purchase your Fluf. If it is not showing in the collection, it may still be unminted.

Please note, it is your responsibility to verify this before purchase to avoid disappointment.
